JSYK:    HOT WHEELS CARS WILL, I REPEAT, WILL FLUSH DOWN A TOILET

 

So a few weeks back i noticed the powder room toilet not flushing fully...

 

Well today i decided to get a plumber out here....the auger wouldn't work, so he had to take the toilet off the floor and auger it backwards...one hour and $215 later...

This is what was found...not a hot wheels...I thought all along it was a car...when your barely speaking 4yr old points to the toilet and says "ccccaaaaaw, cccaaawww, bye bye..." you know sumpins up!

 

So here they are in comparison...the hot wheels flushed fine in the upstairs bathroom...altho i bought an auger yesterday to help it thru, but it went thru without a hitch...this size of this tonka truck just couldn't fit...Poor truck. It had been stuck in that toilet for about a month...well  he is safe now...IN THE TRASH..!

look what i found at Michael's today!  this cute tins...i have been looking for something fun to put my english toffee in...voila! this is it...the children are going to be giving their teachers going away gifts in a few weeks, i iwill fill them with my homemade english toffee....they are just too cute and they were only $1.99 each - and reusable...

on another note, i ran this morning....it was tough getting this big ol body out there....i called my dear friend Chris, (who also just started running) and asked her last night if she wanted to go together, but if i held her up just go without me!  - which she did about 1/2 way thru...but i got up early, put blossom in bed with john...took my cell  phone and pepper spray...for those of you who don't know, i am TERRIFIED of dogs...i don't care what size...if it comes at me, i will spray it.  i have fainted before when a dog came up to me - so whenever i go outside, i have to take my pepper spray...at any rate, we went and i ran just under 1/2 way then walked, then ran/walk the rest of the way home...it was just over 2 miles...but my whole point was that i called her so that i would make a commitment to meet with her...even if i didn't run...i just wanted to have the commitment that i was going to be outside early morning walking or running....now my legs are like spaghetti and i need new shoes!
