grandma bought john a new pair of old navy pants...he has had them for a few months..."growing into them" - well he's "into them"...here are a few pix of him posing...he has this thing of laying his head to the side for pix...it is just too stinkin' cute...

     

movers...

well, the day is almost here.  i can't wait for this to be over...movers are coming THIS friday...we should be moved and on the road by next thursday...then we close on our new home the next day, friday...

please pray for us during hectic and busy time... i am so glad that my honey comes home wednesday...only two more nights without him! i just love him so much...it has been so hard without him here...i sure miss him...

tonight i have to organize myself for tomorrow. i need to make three more batches of english toffee. that will be a total of 7 batches!  this sure is a lot of butter...i am making these for the children's teachers, bus drivers, and therapists...along with hand made cards...which is what i need to finish up tonight!

THE MOVERS ARE COMING NEXT FRIDAY...MAY 2.... wow...i can't wait till this is over.  It is tough going thru this all the time...you never make friends. The internet and blog pages are my friends! I hope this next move will be one that will be a few years at least...maybe even thru high school for Bradley and Blossom...at any rate....brad is coming home next wednesday night and we will all be together...and i can't wait till thursday i am finally going to use my spa gift certificate my sister amy got me last year (July) for my birthday....i can't wait...

maybe i will look like this when i am done!

trip home from Columbus...

boy, friday sunday were two long days...friday i pulled the camper to columbus for storage at our new place...sunday i drove back home....remember, three children...500 miles, 9 1/2 hours, plus a stop for lunch....

they are pretty good when it comes to traveling - as long as someone is taking care of John...and thank God for whoever invented DVD players for the car!  I also want to thank all the caring truck drivers who "yanked' the chain for my children who got the biggest kick out of asking them to beep their horns...especially John...he thought the best part was just doing the "pull" part.  I don't think he realized that the trucks were honking!

and it rained almost the whole way home...

and this too!  I almost missed this shot.. it was taken thru my passenger window...pretty good!   

I felt so bad for this woman, we were coming thru akron and the traffic was all backed up then we saw why, this deer ran into her. crashed in her driver's door and window.  tore off her mirror. there was glass everywhere...there were a lot of guys stopping to help her - i thought that was sweet, until i realized they were all rednecks just trying to get the deer!

random stuff

look what i found at Michael's today!  this cute tins...i have been looking for something fun to put my english toffee in...voila! this is it...the children are going to be giving their teachers going away gifts in a few weeks, i iwill fill them with my homemade english toffee....they are just too cute and they were only $1.99 each - and reusable...

on another note, i ran this morning....it was tough getting this big ol body out there....i called my dear friend Chris, (who also just started running) and asked her last night if she wanted to go together, but if i held her up just go without me!  - which she did about 1/2 way thru...but i got up early, put blossom in bed with john...took my cell  phone and pepper spray...for those of you who don't know, i am TERRIFIED of dogs...i don't care what size...if it comes at me, i will spray it.  i have fainted before when a dog came up to me - so whenever i go outside, i have to take my pepper spray...at any rate, we went and i ran just under 1/2 way then walked, then ran/walk the rest of the way home...it was just over 2 miles...but my whole point was that i called her so that i would make a commitment to meet with her...even if i didn't run...i just wanted to have the commitment that i was going to be outside early morning walking or running....now my legs are like spaghetti and i need new shoes!
