EDITED: CORRECTION ON TEMPERATURE...THE TEMPERATURE IS 11 BELOW !
As most of you know, when we bought our home here in Powell, we bought it almost completely furnished. One thing we ask for in our "furniture" - "on-the-side" purchase was the snowblower. So we paid $50 for this brand new snowblower. Still had the books and the tags attached to it and it never had gasoline in it...so it was literally brand new, just a couple years old...
So the other day when we got all this snow...7" (I know, I know, to my family and friends in the NORTH that is nothing...) well, I had to get the snowblower going...so I read the book and all that good stuff and I took care of our drive way and the sidewalks.
When Bradley came home from school, he wanted to give it a try. Since it had snowed even more and the driveway needed it again, I said sure.
We went over the safety rules, mommy's rules, and all the precautions...so there he goes...snowblowing the driveway.
So I go in the house and a few minutes later Bradley comes in and says "Mommy, there is this girl here who wants me to do her driveway" - So I say "girl or mommy" and he says "a Mommy"...
Our neighbor asked Bradley to do her driveway and she would pay him $25. (I am thinking, uh, yes...that is half of what we paid for the blower). So of course he wanted to and we are trying to give Bradley more responsibilties so of course i let him.
So off he goes down to her driveway. I go down to check on him and he is doing a wonderful job...and he was very proud...
So then Blossom comes home. She goes down with a shovel to help...so sweet.
They both come home and ask if they can go next door to see if they can do out next door neighbors driveway. I said "well, yes, but don't expect them to pay you anything" they said "why." I said "well they didn't ask you to do it, so they are probably thinking you just want to do it for fun"...needless to say, the neighbors driveway DIDN'T get done...
At any rate....pictures are below. There is no school today due to the cold. it is like 0. Wind chill is somewhere like 30 below...
Also, I know I am slacking on posting pictures...well i just got a new high falutin' camera and new lens and I can't get the photos to load onto the computer. All these photos were taken with my old camera...
