no, this lamp is another story. The lamp was very ugly. The bottom portion was pitted brass and the upper portion was wood. I didn't like it, but loved the shape. She had a price of $3 on it. I asked her for $1. She said ok. Then I paid for it, then saw the shade had some water stains on it, so then I said, "oh shoot, sorry, I didn't see the water stains, can i have my money back?" She said sure. I put the lamp down, she gave the dollar back and i said 'thanks' and was walking away, she shouts out "how about .50?" - I said "thanks, but that's ok...i will have to go buy a shade" (I was only buying it to re-sell at a consignment store)...I put the other items in my car, and then turned around and said "I'll buy it for .25 cents" She laughed along with me and said "deal!" - I brought it home, dusted it off and spray painted it flat black. Took of the old shade, put on one i already had on my family room lamp, and voila - i love it!...This is the finished product!
