blossom did a project on bananas. does a banana ripen faster when put in a brown paper bag than one not in a bag?....our results...NO. they ripened at the same time.

it's just a rental...but i like it and we are looking!
boy, friday sunday were two long days...friday i pulled the camper to columbus for storage at our new place...sunday i drove back home....remember, three children...500 miles, 9 1/2 hours, plus a stop for lunch....
they are pretty good when it comes to traveling - as long as someone is taking care of John...and thank God for whoever invented DVD players for the car! I also want to thank all the caring truck drivers who "yanked' the chain for my children who got the biggest kick out of asking them to beep their horns...especially John...he thought the best part was just doing the "pull" part. I don't think he realized that the trucks were honking!

I felt so bad for this woman, we were coming thru akron and the traffic was all backed up then we saw why, this deer ran into her. crashed in her driver's door and window. tore off her mirror. there was glass everywhere...there were a lot of guys stopping to help her - i thought that was sweet, until i realized they were all rednecks just trying to get the deer!

we had a wonderful day today. our first time out in the spring weather to just play and have fun...
so john and i walked and played outside....bringing the bubble mower
...and a wagon full of extra bubbles so that we don't run out...he loves bubbles

This is something I made to let all of my friends and family know that you are truly beautiful people to accept things that are not what you originally expected. When John was born, Brad and I had no idea what was in store for us or, even more importantly, for John. The most endearing moment with John, I believe, was when he was brand new, his first day home, and Brad was leaning over him. John's little hand and all five fingers were wrapped around just one of Brad's fingers... and I walked into the room to check on them both...without even looking up, Brad said to me..."will he even know who the Easter Bunny is?" That broke my heart. It broke my heart because I didn't have an answer for him.
Now I do. John will absolutely know. He doesn't know yet, but he will. We love you so very much John. My heart feels like it will burst every time I think of how much you mean to me. You make me so special!
